Q. What is the difference between a National CMG membership and a Regional CMG membership?
A. The U.S Regions and International Regions have their own memberships separate from National CMG. The Regions are special interest groups that conduct meetings & conferences throughout the world. Being a member of a region does not give you access to the National’s CMG member’s only section, discounted CMG publications an d/ or discounted CMG International Conference registration.
Q. When does my membership expire or need to be renewed?
A. CMG memberships run the calendar year, January 1st to December 31st. To be a current active CMG member one must renew each year or attend the conference.
Q. I signed up for MeasureIT, can I access past proceedings?
A. Sorry, but you must be an active CMG member to access past proceedings. Please consider joining CMG.
Q. What is my username?
A. Your username is the email address you registered with CMG.
Q. How do I reset my password?
A. You can change and get a password reminder using our password utility.
Q. Does my Company have a membership?
A. No, CMG memberships are on an individual basis.
Q. Am I still and Active Member?
A. If you renewed your membership within the current calendar year, or attended last year's conference (excluding Corporate Registrations) then you are currently an active member.
Q. What is my member number or where can I find it?
A. Your CMG member ID # is not posted anywhere on the website. Please call or email for it. You can also find it on your membership or registration confirmation receipt. Your member ID # is yours alone and does not change. It also cannot be used/shared by others.
Q. What is the "Order confirmation number" I receive when I submit a membership application online?
A. Your order confirmation number means that you have submitted your information online successfully and you can use that number as a reference if you have any questions regarding the application. However, it does not mean you are a paid CMG member yet. To become a member completely, your payment must be processed. When this step is complete, you will receive a confirmation letter receipt via email.
Q. What are the rates for the Hotel at conference?
A. Hotel rates for the current conference, if they have been finalized are generally available on the conference home page as part of the Hotel Reservation form or registration link. Theses rates are usually published in July.
Q. What is the fee for the conference?
A. Conference registration fees vary according to the number of days you are attending, when you register, and your membership status. Final prices are generally published in May and can be found on the registration page of the conference website.
Q. What is the difference between Option 1 & 2 Full Week Conference vs. Option 6 & 7 Corporate (shared) Badge Full Week?
A. Options 1 & 2 are for an individual who will attend the conference alone and will receive a badge with his/her name. Options 1 - 5 include a 1 year CMG membership following the conference. Registration Options 6 & 7 are a shared badge. Only the company’s name will be on the badge for the purpose of being shared among co-workers attending the conference. One co-worker at a time may use the badge to attend one session at time. A corporate shared badge registration (Options 6 & 7) does not include a 1 year CMG membership.
Q. Are hotel accommodations included with the conference registration?
A. No, hotel accommodations are not included with the conference registration and must be reserved by the individual. However, when available, CMG does provide a hotel form you can fill out and submit directly to the hotel for your convenience. If you prefer to reserve you room before the CMG provided reservation form or online access link is available, please call the hotel directly and be sure to ask for the CMG Group Rate.
Q. Can I change my original Registration Option which was already processed to different one at a later date?
A. Yes, you can. However, you will incur a processing fee (please see refund policy on the registration form) to make the change.
Q. When will the detailed Conference information such as registration prices, hotel info, and agendas, be posted for my company’s conference/training budgeting purposes?
A. We will post up conference info as soon as things are prepared & approved by the CMG Board of Directors an d/ or Conference Committee. Registration information can be available as early as April, while Program information is generally available in August. Please check the conference website periodically or you can email for specific questions. In the meantime, if you need an estimate for your company’s conference/training budget purposed, you may want to consider using last year’s conference prices as approximation. However, please keep in mind, prices are subject to change.
Q. What is the "Order confirmation number" I receive when I submit a registration form online?
A. Your order confirmation number means that you have submitted your information online successfully and you can use that number as a reference if you have any questions regarding the registration. However, it does not mean you are a paid attendee yet. To be registered completely, your payment must be processed. When this step is complete, you will receive a confirmation letter receipt via email.
Q. How late can I register for the conference?
A. You can register as soon as the registration form becomes available (usually in May) all the way up until the conference itself, as an onsite or walk-in registration. Please keep in mind that our online registration submission system does close down about a week prior to the conference due to staff travel, therefore at that time, it is recommended that you register at the conference. Onsite registrations are welcome, so don't worry about missing anything.
Q. Can I use a Purchase Order Number to pay for my registration?
A. No. While you may submit a Purchase Order number to us; you will not be registered until CMG receives the actual payment by either check or credit card. Once payment is received and processed, you will receive a confirmation letter via email. Only then are you registered completely for the conference. Also, please keep in mind that Purchase Order checks usually take a month for some companies to process and send to us; therefore, purchase orders number sent in advance cannot be use as a place holder for Early Bird rates. Payment must be received on or before the Early Bird Deadline date to qualify for the discounted rate.

Q. What types of Sponsorships are available for exhibiting at a CMG conference?
A. There are a number of different sponsorship levels for CMG conferences. If you are not interested or not able to sponsor, we offer various items to be purchased through our à la carte list. Please review the sponsorship descriptions to see our levels of sponsorship and/or other items that can be purchased through our à la carte list. Q. As an exhibiting company or a potential exhibitor, is there a way to reach your members?
A. Yes, we offer e-mail blasts to three targeted lists. Please review the request form for details.

Q. Are there opportunities for Exhibiting Companies to present to CMG conference attendees?
A. Yes, CMG does offer speaking opportunities to our exhibitors. We offer MUGs (Monday User Groups) and Exhibitor Presentations. These allow you to present/sell your products or services to our attendees or present any type of training or White paper. We also provide Vendor Training Sessions, these are technical, product-specific training sessions which run parallel to our regular conference sessions.
