TURNERSVILLE, NEW JERSEY – Computer Measurement Group (CMG) has announced the presenters selected for its annual imPACt conference which include Ed Hunter, Engineering Lead at Netflix; Kevin McLaughlin, Director, IT Capacity Management at Capital One; and Brian Summa, PhD, Assistant Professor at Tulane University. The organization’s 43rd international conference, which will attract more than 200 enterprise technology professionals, will be held November 6 – 9, 2017 in New Orleans, LA, USA.

The majority of the conference presentations are by practitioners who are sharing their own experiences in the field. “I’m very much looking forward to participating in CMG imPACt 2017,” said Ed Hunter, Engineering Lead at Netflix. “As we grow beyond serving 100m subscribers around the world we continue to discover and solve new challenges for growth. The conference will provide an opportunity to sit down with other industry experts and share new ideas on how companies such as Netflix are dealing with the issues of scale and performance.”

During the three-day conference, attendees will participate sessions covering systems performance, capacity planning, and more. “Whether your interests are in performance engineering, capacity planning, the mainframe, DevOps, or technologies such as cloud, IoT, machine learning — we have an amazing set of speakers and topics for this year’s conference,” said Elisabeth Stahl, Distinguished Engineer, IBM, and the 2017 imPACt Program Chair.
The conference, which is supported in part by gold partners Metron and TeamQuest will also include a two-day hackathon event with cash prizes and two training components: a digital badge program and a performance testing workshop.
