The Dell Hybrid Cybersecurity Framework

Abstract:

During this session you will be introduced to the Dell Hybrid Cybersecurity Framework (DHCF), a unique use case to demonstrate how Dell is contextualizing Cyber Security within Enterprise Architecture. Ed will also provide insights into future innovations to align the (DHCF) to MITRE Attack and Shield, NIST 800-53 and more. Attendees will find great value attending this session to ensure your organization fulfills a set of common requirements that risk managers must use to assess the operational status of internal IT security and cloud provider controls.

As the Senior Manager for Enterprise Security Architecture, Ed has spent the last 10 years Building a world class cybersecurity architecture organization to secure Dell’s vision of driving human progress. Ed presently leads a team of highly trained security experts to design, envision, implement, assess and protect the security posture and fabric of Dell and it’s customers across the globe. During his time at Northwestern Mutual, Ed served as the Product Manager of the Office 365 Platform, and Lead Microsoft Platform Architect to ensure the organization maximized the benefit of their security technologies, processes, and risk management by creating a holistic security vision designed to enhance security, management, and user experience. In 2018, Ed’s research on “Transform Security to Support Product Line-Aligned IT (Northwestern Mutual),” was featured in Gartner Research. In addition to being a CISSP, Ed volunteers on CSA’s Enterprise Architecture working group and formally collaborates with MITRE.
