March 2, 2023The judges were impressed by the scope and success of the Precision MSE project.
The Computer Measurement Group, CMG, with its partner Mullen Foundation announced last week that Broadcom was the recipient of the 2023 IMPACT Innovation Award for its work on Precision MSE. The awards program, which attracted more than double the applicants from its first year, was created to recognize individuals and teams who have driven IT improvements to drive significant change and extraordinary outcomes within their organizations. After showcasing the finalists’ entries, Broadcom was named the winner.
The winning project, Precision MSE established standards to improve the customer experience. With security at the heart of its new design system and valuable insights from customers using the products, Broadcom achieved major success. The end result was a 100% refactored code and consistent and standardized UX patterns throughout all adopted Broadcom Mainframe Software UIs. This standardization improved the customer experience and has saved significant time and cost throughout the organization.
“This award is a validation not only of this platform we are building, but also of the investment Broadcom Mainframe Software is making in modernizing the mainframe experience for the customers we partner with,” said Jyotsna Chatradhi, senior UI manager, Broadcom.
“There was strong competition for the 2023 award,” said Amanda Hendley, President and Managing Director of CMG. “Our winner, Broadcom, was selected for their success in modernizing a platform that had a very tangible impact throughout their organization. With a small initial team, they were able to reduce their time to market by up to 60% and have a consistent UI through their products in a cost-effective manner.”
