Code Generation and Code Completion using Generative AI

Richa Naik (she/her) is a Machine Learning Engineer at MathWorks, specializing in the MATLAB Language and Software Foundations vertical. Her primary focus is on developing AI Assisted Coding and Generative AI capabilities for MATLAB, with prior experience in various deep learning projects.

She holds an M.S. in Computational Science and Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras. During her graduate studies, Richa conducted research on using machine learning to uncover degradation mechanisms in solar cell materials. This research was published in Nature Computational Materials and presented at respected conferences such as Machine Learning and the Physical Sciences @ NeurIPS 2021 and MRS 2021.

In addition to her research work, Richa actively contributes to the tech community. She recently conducted a workshop at the WiDS (Women in Data Science) Datathon 2023, guiding participants on building weather forecasting models. She also volunteers and serves as a teaching assistant at workshops, such as those organized by MathWorks at the Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC).

Evolution of SRE with Gen AI

Improving the stability and reliability of the application is of paramount importance in SRE engineering. It’s always a challenge for SRE engineers to achieve the same amongst the humongous volume of data that modular and dynamic applications produce today. Before tracking down the actual cause, it’s already time for tackling the next issue. Join us to explore the opportunities that AI provides in making the life of SRE easier and encouraging them to focus on future innovations.

Vijayarajan Ravindran, with 12 years of IT experience has specialized in DevOps, Cloud Computing, Software development, and Artificial Intelligence.
