About CMG
The Computer Measurement Group (CMG), Inc is a 45+ year old organization founded on the goal of sharing information and education about mainframe best practices. Today, the organization has broadened its scope to cover a variety of topics important to the enterprise IT practitioner. Topics include monitoring and observability, performance engineering, DevOps, Security, Cloud and Containerization, and more.
The organization hosts 7-8 events per year virtually, and in-person, when possible. Many of CMG’s events are free to non-members but members have the advantage of access to our robust repository of event videos, articles, and proceedings. Our events calendar can be found online here.
